Full design data is supplied with all moulds produced. A maintenance support plan can also be provided.
With every mould an information pack is provided with 2D and 3D drawings. We always archive drawings and can provide copies upon request. A follow up maintenance programme package can be provided with staged check up, service and planned maintenance profiling.
We strongly believe in the value of open two-way honest communication. Changes can be easily adopted in the design and development stage or midstream tuning during manufacture if communicated at the earliest opportunity. If there is to be any impact to the agreed timings for any reason we believe it to be the best policy to discuss at the earliest point in order that contingencies can be actioned.
Employing Autodesk Delcam Powershape Ultimate software our fully skilled in-house Design Engineers can help you to engineer the optimum solution to suit the specification brief, budget, and expected manufacturing lead time. Whether it be plastic injection mould tooling, thermoset compression mould tooling, thermoset compression transfer tooling, blow moulds, extruders, Rim tooling, or prototype moulds, we will design high quality tooling to meet product specification and accuracy, cycle time, and tool life expectation. Other areas covered include product design, advice on product design relating to suitability to sustainable tooling, reverse engineering, moldflow analysis. Also advice upon steel type suitability and moulding media suitability to your application. Particular attention is always paid to mould temperature control and mould venting to maximise productivity throughput. We believe that the foundation to the success of a new tooling programme is effective project management. An initial meeting will establish scope of the project and identify responsibilties. At the outset agreed key stage timings are agreed upon, including final customer drawing release, submission of general assembly drawings for steel sizing and type approval, order of materials, and commencement of manufacture. We submit timing plans outlining all key stages in design and manufacture. Progressive photographic reporting or video are also supplied. Tool validation sampling services can be provided. Machine robot heads, assembly fixtures, checking fixtures, gauges, and ancillary items such as hot runner controllers can also be supplied.
